Violent Soho new single & more artist news

It's the news we've been waiting for as Violent Soho released their brand new single, 'Like Soda' last week. The first track to come from their forthcoming album (release date TBC) is classic Soho and will be a massive moment at Laneway.

CHVRCHES return to Laneway in 2016 and are coming back bigger and better. Every Open Eye, the band's second record, debuted at #3 on the Australian albums chart at the end of September and features massive singles 'Leave A Trace' and 'Clearest Blue' with plenty more to come.

Grimes has officially returned! There are plenty of shows announced around the world and some imminent news is expected on the album front, her first since 2012's breakthrough, Visions

We were as surprised (and as equally thrilled!) as anyone to find out Beach House is dropping a new album next week, their second in 2015 after the incredibly well received Depression Cherry in August. Look out for Thank Your Lucky Stars this Friday (16 October).

If you're dying to know what the new HEALTH live show looks and sounds like then wonder no more. Watch the band perform 'Stonefist' in London: "Shot by the legendary Giorgio Testi (who is known for his live films of Blur, The Rolling Stones, Savages, and more) as a single shot on a Sony F65 8K camera, the video is the first live concert film to be shot in 8K, with all movement executed by zooms and pans." Sounds epic, right? Well, it is!

Adding some serious flavour to our 2016 line-up is Washington, DC rapper GoldLink. He just announced his debut album And After That, We Didn't Talk (out 13 November) and dropped new single 'Spectrum'. Check it out and don't miss GoldLink at Laneway.
