The Best Of 2013

It's that time of year again, when everyone wants to get their two cents in and tell you what they consider to be the best albums of 2013. Well, we're no different here at Laneway Festival but we're also offering a sweet prize pack to you fine folks just for taking the time to read this and get involved... more on that later, so for now, back to the lists!

Special shout out to Savages and their incredible record Silence Yourself, which is consistently one of the highest rated albums across nearly every "best of 2013" list we've witnessed so far!

We booked Savages to play Laneway 2014 after falling hard for their live show, firstly, at one of their very early shows in London, and secondly, after seeing them at SXSW early in 2013 and shortly after at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Savages put on an unmissable show, simply put they're one of the best live acts on the bill. Do not miss this band. Don't believe us? Watch Savages performing 'She Will' at Pitchfork Music Festival (above) and tell us you're not convinced!

The following comes from the team behind Laneway, those who make it all happen and (hopefully) deliver a festival that makes you want to come back and see us year after year. Let's kick things off with some of our favourite tastemakers' "best of" lists... with Laneway acts very well represented.
